Question by Glenn I. Fleishman: Where can I find photos of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s home — and his office chair, which was on train tracks?
Doyle was obsessed by trains, and my wife recalls seeing his preserved house with a small train on the property and his office chair set on train tracks to allow him to push himself back and forth between tasks in his office. Any leads?

Doyle was into spiritualism & was a personal friend of Harry Houdini. If you do not find your info in conventional ways, try finding out more through this lead. Good luck.
PS. Doyle never gave up his quest of contacting people on the other side through seances & such. Houdini finally gave up on spiritualism altogether.
Train history sources of Britain may help. Goodness knows train enthusiasts sure are intense, indepth folks on their subject. I’ll bet contacting British train enthusiast groups would know.
